NRA’s 2012 Trigger the Vote Campaign
NRA’s 2012 Trigger the Vote campaign launched February 8. To kick off the campaign, the NRA Freedom Action Foundation is rolling out its first ad, “Peace and Quiet” featuring actor and former U.S. Marine Corps Gunnery Sergeant R. Lee Ermey. Ballistic Backpack Panels – Proving Ground

In the age of Columbine and Virginia Tech, it might make sense to consider putting a lightweight ballistic-resistant panel in the backpacks of the people you care about. In this video, we put three ballistic panels by Basic Black through a generous heaping of abuse, starting with stabs, and progressing from 32 ACP all the way through to .44 Magnum. You gotta see it to believe how much stress these same three panels were able to withstand.

Afghanistan IED Video and Wounded Warrior Project
In my time in the military I was never deployed to a combat zone but we had plenty of training accidents that were just as disturbing. One month before I was deployed to South Korea a new 11Mike was on top of a Bradley IFV while the gunner swiveled the turret. The new infantry soldier was caught unawares and got his foot stuck on one of the hand holds and the turret tore him apart at the waist. The soldier died almost instantly but it was an extraordinarily gruesome scene and left many people scarred.
I came across a video on Michael Yon’s website. Michael Yon is a former Green Beret, native of Winter Haven, Fl. who has been reporting from Iraq and Afghanistan since December 2004. I highly recommend his website. The video below is of a soldier stepping on a land mine and his squad mates giving him first aid. The video is unedited and gory. If you don’t like the sight of blood then I would advise you not to watch this video.
After watching the video I decided to donate 10% of my sites ad revenue from this point on to the Wounded Warrior Project to assist veterans with disabilities since every little bit helps.

Respect Your Neighbors Opinion and Home Invasion Video
A buddy of mine forwarded me this pic and I thought I would share it with everyone else. When I saw it I burst out laughing at work. I showed it to my coworker and he didn’t get it so I guess I would be the guy with the sign on my lawn with the arrow pointing at his house.
The same buddy who sent me the pic above also sent me a video for your viewing pleasure. It was interesting to watch and made a brutal point about putting your safety in the hands of others. I hate living in the big city that I am in now because of the strict gun laws in place. My opinion is that the general law abiding population is being punished because of the criminal activity a small percentage of people. Until I have an opportunity to leave this concrete cesspool of corruption I’m just going have to deal with it for now.
Don’t F***ING Shoot Yourself
Seriously this video should convince anyone watching it not to put their finger on the trigger until they are ready to shoot. Accidents happen but this guy learned the hard way. It f***ing sucks to be him.
